GoKwik and Shiprocket Checkout solve the same Indian D2C problem: a slow checkout, too many cash-on-delivery (COD) orders, and too many of those orders coming back as return-to-origin (RTO). They come at it from different places. GoKwik is a checkout and COD specialist with a published entry price and a large, well-reviewed Shopify app. Shiprocket Checkout, which Shiprocket now sells as fastrr Checkout, is part of a wider suite tied to Shiprocket's shipping, fulfilment and delivery data.
Choose GoKwik if COD and RTO control is your biggest problem and you want transparent entry pricing. Choose Shiprocket Checkout if you already ship with Shiprocket and want one vendor from checkout to delivery. If you can't decide, test them against each other on your own traffic, judged on delivered orders rather than checkout clicks.
Facts below were checked against each vendor's own site and public reports in November 2026. Vendor performance figures are the vendors' own claims, not independent measurements.
GoKwik is a New Delhi company founded in 2020 that sells a one-click checkout (Kwik Checkout) built around COD and RTO control. Its checkout offers OTP login, address prefill from its shopper network, RTO risk detection, partial COD, COD blocking by pincode, a discount module, bundles and gift cards. GoKwik says it has "70+" COD interventions.
Around the checkout it has grown into a broader suite: Kwik Pass for recognising returning visitors, Kwik Engage for messaging, a cart product, and returns software. TechCrunch reported a $13M round in June 2025 and more than 12,000 paying merchants at the time.
Shiprocket Checkout is the one-click checkout from Shiprocket, India's large shipping and logistics platform. Shiprocket now brands it fastrr Checkout, part of the Fastrr suite launched at its SHIVIR 2026 event. Shiprocket itself listed on the NSE and BSE in August 2026.
The checkout offers one-click checkout, OTP login, address autofill from Shiprocket's buyer network, COD-to-prepaid conversion, rule-based COD charges, discounts by payment mode, personalised coupons, upsells, abandoned-cart recovery, automatic payment-mode switching after a failed payment, and estimated delivery dates. Its main advantage is that it sits next to Shiprocket's shipping, fulfilment and RTO tools (Shiprocket Engage), so delivery data can feed the checkout.

Ratings and review counts were checked in November 2026 and change often.
GoKwik publishes its entry pricing. On its pricing page, the Emerging plan is a βΉ3,000/month platform fee for 0 to 2,000 orders a month, plus a 3.5% charge, plus payment aggregator fees. Stores above 2,000 orders a month get custom Enterprise pricing. Its Shopify App Store listing shows βΉ3,322.20/month and describes the 3.5% differently from the pricing page, so confirm exactly what the 3.5% applies to before you sign.
Shiprocket Checkout does not publish pricing for its main checkout. Shiprocket says it depends on business size and order volume. Some Fastrr add-on apps (login, cart, COD) are priced individually on the Shopify App Store.
In practice both will quote on volume for larger brands. The useful comparison is not the fee, it is the net revenue per visitor after RTO: a cheaper checkout that lets through more risky COD orders can cost you more in failed deliveries than it saves in fees.
For most Indian D2C brands, COD is where checkout choice pays off or doesn't. Both products try to move shoppers to prepaid and filter risky COD orders, with different data behind them.
Neither approach is better everywhere. A brand with high RTO in a few regions may get more from pincode-level COD rules. A brand already shipping with Shiprocket may get more from checkout and delivery data living in one place.
Both promise one-click checkout for returning shoppers by prefilling addresses from their networks. GoKwik claims "50M+ shoppers" on its network and "85%+ address prefills". Shiprocket claims "95% autofilled addresses". Both are vendor claims, and the number that matters is your prefill rate, which depends on how many of your shoppers already exist in each network. Ask each vendor for a prefill estimate on a sample of your orders.
GoKwik's Kwik COD & Checkout app is on the Shopify App Store with 4.7β from 401 reviews. Shiprocket says fastrr installs on Shopify, WooCommerce and Magento through its plugin or SDKs. Its related Fastrr add-on apps on the App Store have only a handful of reviews each.
Neither vendor states plainly which Shopify plans are required or exactly how the checkout replaces Shopify's own. Ask both, especially if you are on a non-Plus plan.
One thing to watch: Inc42 reported in October 2026 that Shopify is expected to bring Shop Pay to India by early 2027. Shopify hasn't confirmed it, but if it happens, it would compete directly with every third-party checkout here. Avoid long lock-ins until that's clearer.
Vendor claims of "up to 40%" or "60%" conversion lifts come from their best customers, not your store. The reliable way to choose is to split your traffic between the two (or between one of them and Shopify's native checkout) and compare completed and delivered orders per visitor, not checkout starts.
This is harder than it sounds. Both checkouts take the order out of Shopify's native checkout, so most A/B testing tools stop counting at add-to-cart and can't tell you which checkout actually produced paid orders.
CustomFit.ai receives orders and revenue from these checkouts directly and writes the test variant onto each Shopify order, so you can compare them on real revenue. See A/B testing with GoKwik and A/B testing with Shiprocket Checkout. The same setup lets you test what happens before checkout: where you show COD availability, delivery dates and prepaid offers.

Is Shiprocket Checkout the same as fastrr? Yes. Shiprocket now sells its one-click checkout as fastrr Checkout, part of its Fastrr suite launched in September 2026.
Which is cheaper, GoKwik or Shiprocket Checkout? GoKwik publishes an entry plan (βΉ3,000/month for up to 2,000 orders, plus a 3.5% charge and payment fees). Shiprocket doesn't publish checkout pricing. Compare quotes on your volume, and weigh them against RTO, not just fees.
Which is better for reducing RTO? Both target it. GoKwik uses its checkout network and COD controls such as partial COD and pincode blocking. Shiprocket uses its delivery data. The better one is the one that delivers more of your orders, which you can only see by testing on your own traffic.
Do both work with Shopify? GoKwik has a Shopify App Store app (4.7β , 401 reviews in November 2026). Shiprocket installs fastrr through its own plugin. Confirm plan requirements with each vendor.
Can I A/B test GoKwik against Shiprocket Checkout? Yes. Split shoppers between the two and compare completed orders and revenue per visitor. You need a testing tool that receives orders from both checkouts, because Shopify's native checkout events don't fire for either.
Should I wait for Shop Pay in India? Shopify hasn't confirmed it. It's a reason to avoid long contracts, not a reason to keep a slow checkout today.
